SupaNet
Using SupaNet

Install SupaNet as an app

Add SupaNet to your device for a full-screen experience and quick launch.

SupaNet works as a web app, but you can also install it as a native app on your phone, tablet, or computer. This gives you a full-screen experience and a home-screen icon for quick access — without downloading anything from an app store.

How to install

On Chrome, Edge, or Android

When you log in to SupaNet, the browser recognizes it as installable and offers two ways to install:

  1. The SupaNet install banner — a small prompt appears at the bottom-right of your screen, offering to "Install SupaNet" on your device. Click Install, then confirm in the system dialog.
  2. The browser's install button — click the Install icon in your address bar (looks like a download icon or a box with an arrow), then confirm.

The install button appears once the app meets the browser's PWA criteria, so if you don't see it right away, try refreshing the page.

On iOS and macOS (Safari)

  1. Open SupaNet in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (arrow pointing out of a box).
  3. Select Add to Home Screen (or Add to Dock on macOS).
  4. Enter a name for the app (or keep "SupaNet") and tap Add.

The app will appear on your home screen or dock and open in a full-screen window when you tap it.

What you get

Once installed, SupaNet behaves like a native app:

  • Full-screen window — no browser address bar or tabs, giving you more space.
  • Home screen icon — launch from your home screen or dock with a single tap or click.
  • Works offline (partially) — if your internet drops briefly, you can still navigate within the app; data refreshes when the connection comes back.
  • Instant loading — cached assets load faster on repeat visits.

Dismissing and re-enabling the install prompt

If you tap Not now on the SupaNet install banner, it will not show up again for two weeks. This gives you time to think about it without being nagged.

If you change your mind and want to see the prompt again before two weeks have passed, you can:

  • Use the browser's own install button (always available in the address bar once available).
  • Go to Settings → Profile and click Show install prompt under the "Install app" section.
  • Clear your browser's site data and refresh, which resets the dismissal timer.

Once you install the app, the install prompt disappears — you are already installed.

Uninstalling

To uninstall the app:

  • Android/Chrome: Open the app's menu (three dots) → Uninstall app.
  • iOS: long-press the app icon → Remove AppDelete App.
  • Desktop: Uninstall like any other application (Windows: Control Panel → Programs; macOS: drag the app to Trash).

You can always reinstall later by opening SupaNet in your browser and using the install button.
