Home dashboard
A real-time overview of what's happening in your workspace, plus custom widgets you compose yourself.
The Home page is your workspace at a glance. When you log in to SupaNet, you land here and see what's been going on, who is doing what, and what needs your attention — all without having to jump between different pages.
Why the Home dashboard is useful
Home gives you a fast, personalized view of your workspace. You can:
- See stats at a glance — how many to-dos are open, how many artifacts and files you have, and how much activity happened this week.
- Track completion — a progress bar shows what percent of your to-dos are done.
- See your open to-dos — the most urgent tasks, right there, and you can check them off without leaving the page.
- Build your own widgets — compose custom tiles (counts, lists, or charts) from any of your data so the dashboard shows exactly what matters to you.
The two views: Overview and Explore
Home has two tabs:
Overview
The default view when you log in. It's a "what's going on" dashboard with:
- Quick actions — buttons to start a chat, upload a file, create an artifact, create an agent, add a to-do, or add a link.
- Pinned collections — your most important collections in a grid (if you have any pinned). Shows up to 12 collections sorted by most recently updated, with each collection's name and description.
- Pinned artifacts — your most important artifacts in a grid (if you have any pinned). Shows up to 12 artifacts sorted by most recently updated, with a preview of each.
- Stat tiles — counts of open to-dos (with a completion bar), artifacts, files, and events this week.
- Your to-dos — your top open tasks, with due dates if set. Hover over a to-do and click the checkbox to mark it done right there.
- Your custom widgets — tiles you (or the AI) have composed to show exactly what you want to see.
Explore
The original feature index. Click the Explore tab to see all the things you can do in SupaNet — collections, artifacts, tables, whiteboards, and more — with quick-jump buttons and a search bar.
Creating custom widgets
Widgets are the most powerful part of Home. They let you build a dashboard without any code.
Click the Add widget button in the "Your widgets" section. A panel opens where you describe what you want to see, and the assistant builds it for you.
Examples:
- "My open to-dos as a count"
- "Artifacts I added today as a list"
- "A chart of my activity this month"
- "My latest 5 files"
The assistant picks the right kind (a count, a list, or a bar chart), the right data source (to-dos, artifacts, files, links, collections, or activity), and any filters you want. When you confirm, the widget appears on your dashboard and syncs live across your devices.
What widgets can show
A widget is made up of three things:
- Kind — how to render it:
stat: a single big number (count of items)list: recent rows from a table, shown as a list with titles and timestampschart: a bar chart of activity per day (last 14 days)
- Source — the data table:
todos: your to-do listartifacts: your saved documents and codefiles: files you uploadedlinks: bookmarked linkscollections: named groups of itemsactivity: the activity log of what happened in your workspace
- Spec — optional filters:
window: time filter (today,7d,30d, orall)mine: show only rows you own (default is off, so workspace items show)status: for to-dos only, filter byopenordonelimit: for list widgets, how many rows to show (default 5, max 20)
Managing widgets
Once a widget is on your dashboard:
- Remove it — hover over the widget and click the × button in the top right.
- Edit it — delete it and create a new one with different settings. (Direct editing is coming soon.)
Widgets are personal — they only show on your dashboard. A widget you create doesn't appear on anyone else's Home page.
Real-time updates
Everything on Home updates live:
- When a new to-do is created, the count goes up and it appears in your list.
- When activity happens, stats are refreshed.
- When a team member creates a to-do or artifact, you see the counts update.
- When you (or the AI) add a widget, it appears on your dashboard right away, even if you are on another device.
Pinning collections to Home
You can pin collections to your Home page for quick access to the resources you use most. Go to the Collections page, select a collection, and click the pin button (📌) in the header. Pinned collections appear at the top of the Overview tab, and you can click any collection to jump to its dashboard. Unpin a collection anytime by clicking the pin button again.
Tips for using Home
- Use Home as your entry point — check it when you log in to get your bearings.
- Pin your key collections — pin the collections you use every day so they're always visible on Home.
- Create artifacts, to-dos, and links quickly — click the New artifact, New todo, or New link buttons in the quick actions area to add them without leaving Home.
- Pin what matters — create widgets for things you care about. A product team might pin "my open to-dos" and "artifacts I shared this week". A manager might pin "team activity chart" and "open to-dos in the Goals collection".
- Mark to-dos as done from Home — you don't have to go to the To-dos page. Click the checkbox on a task and it is marked done right there.
- Switch to Explore — when you want to browse all your stuff or search globally, click the Explore tab.
